Willie Booth Travel Awards and for awards given so far
An exciting new opportunity for travel has been created in memory of the late Rev Prebendary Willie Booth CVO, a Vice President of Phab. The scheme offers up to four travel bursaries of £400 (maximum) each year to individuals for exceptional travel costs such as Special Olympics, disability sports events, etc.
Eligible applicants with either a physical or learning disability aged between 14 upwards are invited to apply for an application form from Summit House. The awards will be available to both Phab members and non-members.

Awards given so far to:
- Jack Pegram who has recently competed very successfully in the wheelchair table tennis championships in Dubai, gaining a silver medal
- Emma Harris who is a member of the England “Boccia” squad
- Tom Baty, who successfully took part in the Special Olympics in Athens winning 4 gold medals.
- Graham Pallett – Basildon Phab to assist with transport costs for competing in archery competitions.
