Taking to the skies with Phab
Freedom in the Air and Phab worked together once again this summer to give Phab club members the opportunity to take to the skies with two exciting Flyng Days at Manchester and Redhill.
In early June, 20 Phab members from three different clubs attended a wonderful day of flying at Redhill Aerodrome, with each pilot having 30 minutes in the air, taking in the sights and even taking over the controls.
And at the end of June (the hottest day of the year!) 21 pilots from four different Phab clubs followed suit at Manchester, being shown the basics of flying a plane, taking in all the landmarks below, and flying the plane too.
Many thanks to Freedom in the Air for securing these very special Flying Days, to the Florian Charitable Trust for their generosity, and to Redhill Aviation Flight Training and LAC Flying School in Manchester for giving everyone such a wonderful experience.
