Eton College Phab Club flourishing
The new Phab Club recently opened at Eton College continues to thrive and grow. Students at Eton are joined by students from Heathfield School in Ascot and Eden School in Slough to run the Club, led by the Rev. Dan Bond and Andrea Cawthorne who are both Trustees of Phab.
Meeting fortnightly on a Friday in one of the boarding houses, members enjoy time together and take part in a with a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, pool, karaoke, table tennis, games and much more.
The Club follows Phab’s philosophy of inclusion with everyone enjoying activities together and is part of a new programme of opening clubs at various school locations.

Other schools and universities where Phab has been involved with students setting up or supporting Phab Clubs and holiday projects over a number of years include Westminster School, Merchant Taylors’ and St. Helen’s Schools in Middlesex, Aldenham School in Hertfordshire, and Universities in Nottingham, Warwick, Bristol, Birmingham and Reading. Many students who volunteer with their school Phab Club or holiday project go on to volunteer with Phab later in life, setting up Phab Clubs at their University, volunteering on our own residential Projects for disabled children and young people, or raising funds for Phab through our Challenge events, such as the London Marathon, or in their workplace.
