Eton opens new Phab Club
A new Phab Club being held at Eton College has just launched in November. Students at Eton are being joined by students from Heathfield School in Ascot and Eden School in Slough to run the Club, led by the Rev. Dan Bond and Andrea Cawthorne who are both Trustees of Phab.
The club is meeting fortnightly on a Friday in one of the boarding houses with members enjoying time together and taking part in a with a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, pool, karaoke, table tennis, games and much more.
The club will very much follow Phab’s philosophy of inclusion with everyone enjoying activities together and is the start of a new programme of opening clubs at various school locations.

Other schools and universities where Phab has been involved with students setting up or supporting Phab Clubs and holiday projects over a number of years include Westminster School, Merchant Taylors’ and St. Helen’s Schools in Middlesex, Aldenham School in Hertfordshire, and Universities in Nottingham, Warwick, Bristol, Birmingham and Reading. Many students who volunteer with their school Phab Club or holiday project go on to volunteer with Phab later in life, setting up Phab Clubs at their University, volunteering on our own residential Projects for disabled children and young people, or raising funds for Phab through our Challenge events, such as the London Marathon, or in their workplace.
